ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
This matter is before the Administrative Law Judge Division ("Division") pursuant to the Agency
Transmittal Form filed on March 27, 2001. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division
("Respondent") denied Petitioner's application to be licensed as a private investigator. Petitioner
requested a contested case hearing regarding Respondent's decision to deny the license.
A hearing on the merits of the above-captioned matter was scheduled to be held on Tuesday, June 5,
2001, at the office of the Division in Columbia, South Carolina. In a letter filed June 4, 2001, however,
counsel for Respondent indicates Respondent withdraws its opposition and agrees to issue a private
investigator license to Petitioner. The hearing, therefore, was cancelled.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Respondent must issue the license to Petitioner and this matter is
dismissed.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
