ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL (Appeal)
The above-entitled case is pending on appeal in this Division. An Order of Abeyance was issued on September 10, 1999,
directing the parties to notify the Court of the status of the issues by November 10, 1999. By letter dated November 15,
1999, Charles Black, Attorney for Respondent, informed the Court that the Appellant had passed away on November 7,
1999. Further, by letter dated November 16, 1999, Mr. Black explained that the eligibility issues between Mrs. Finklea's
family and the Dillon County Department of Social Services (DSS) have been resolved as shown by the attached letter.
There being no further controversy, the appeal is now moot.
IT IS ORDERED that the above-captioned appeal be and hereby is dismissed.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
