ORDERS:
CONSENT ORDER OF DISMISSAL
This matter was initiated by a citation issued by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division against Respondent on May
27, 1999, for a violation of S.C. Code Ann. §12-21-2791 (Supp. 1998), for paying out more that $125.00 to one person in a
24 hour period. The South Carolina Department of Revenue (Department) issued its Final Department Determination
sustaining this violation and imposing a $500.00 fine against Respondent. Respondent appealed the determination and it was
transmitted to the Administrative Law Judge Division.
Prior to the hearing, the parties resolved this matter. That resolution is incorporated in this Order.
The agreement between the parties is as follows:
1. For the violation on May 27, 1999, Respondent agrees to pay a fine in the amount of $500.00. Respondent further agrees
to make the initial payment of $250.00 to the Department no later than February 15, 2000 at 5:00 p.m. Respondent agrees
to make the final payment of $250.00 to the Department no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 15, 2000.
2. The Department accepts the above payments in full satisfaction of the violation.
I find this agreement to be fair and equitable, approve such agreement, and hereby Order its adoption. This court retains
continuing jurisdiction to enforce this Order. As Respondent no longer requires a hearing in this matter, I also order this
matter DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
