ORDERS:
ORDER
This matter came before the Court for hearing on Tuesday, April 27, 1999 on the Department
of Revenue's final determination to assess a fine of $5,000 against MHJ Corporation for allegedly
violating S.C. Code Section 12-21-2748 for failing to have owner identification attached to two Type
III machines and a fine of $500 for allegedly violating S.C. Code Section 12-21-2791 by making non-machine cash payouts in a 24 hour period exceeding the statutory $125 limit.
At the hearing, the Court was advised that the parties had reached a compromise settlement of
all outstanding issues. Pursuant to this agreement, Respondent MHJ Corporation has agreed to pay
a reduced fine totaling $1,500.
This Court has reviewed the agreement and finds that it is a fair and just resolution of this case.
THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Respondent, MHJ Corporation, shall pay
the Department of Revenue $1,500 within 10 days from the date hereof.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
