ORDERS:
ORDER OF SETTLEMENT
A hearing on the merits in the above matter commenced at 10:30 a.m. on September 14,
1998. The parties in this matter agreed and stated on the record that Respondent Piedmont Tool and
Supply Co., Inc., represented by Patricia F. Hayes, Vice President, would pay a fine of $650 to
Petitioner South Carolina Department of Revenue, represented by Attorney Nicholas P. Sipe, no later
than September 24, 1998, which would settle the above matter. I find that the settlement agreed
upon by the parties is fair.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that upon payment of the fine of $650 by Respondent to
the South Carolina Department of Revenue, the above-captioned case bearing Docket Number 98-ALJ-17-0369-CC is dismissed.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
