CONSENT ORDER

On October 22, 1999, Respondents were cited by the South Carolina Department of Revenue for offering a special inducement (jackpot display) for the playing of machines licensed under S.C. Code Ann. § 12-21-2720(A)(3) (Supp. 1998). These offenses allegedly took place on or about August 26, 1999.



G. B. & S Corporation, d/b/a as Southern Hospitality is no longer in the video poker business, and wishes to settle this disputed matter. While not admitting any wrongdoing, G. B. & S. Corporation and W. H. Bristow, Inc., agree to pay a total of one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars within fifteen days of the date of this order to settle this disputed matter. Petitioner agrees to accept a total of one thousand ($1,000.00) to settle this disputed claim.



I find that the agreement of the parties is a satisfactory resolution of the contested matter between the parties, is fair and reasonable, and hereby order its adoption.





IT IS SO ORDERED.
