ORDERS:
FINAL ORDER AND DECISION
This case concerns the Petitioner's application for an on-premises beer and wine permit. A hearing was scheduled for
January 5, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at the Administrative Law Judge Division in Columbia, South Carolina. Notice of the time and
date of the hearing was sent to all concerned parties, including all Protestants of record, namely Chief Marshall E. Russell,
Laverne Graham, Designers Florist, and Dewey Eugene Price, on November 22, 1999.
The South Carolina Department of Revenue (Department) was excused from appearing at the hearing by my Order dated
November 18, 1999 because the applicant met all statutory requirements for the permit and the Department would have
issued the permit but for the public protests filed with the Department. The Petitioner made an appearance at the scheduled
hearing in this matter. No Protestant appeared at the hearing. The Protestants are deemed to have abandoned their protest
in this matter. Therefore, for good cause shown,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Department issue an on-premises beer and wine permit to the Petitioner upon
payment of all required costs and fees.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
