ORDERS:
ORDER AND DECISION
This matter comes before me pursuant to S.C. Code Ann.
1-23-310, et seq. (Supp. 1995) for a hearing pursuant to the
application of Donna I. Wright, d/b/a Just Wright Grill and
Grocery. The petitioner seeks an off-premises beer and wine
permit (AI 109436) for a grill/grocery store located at 3400
Wessinger Road, Chapin, South Carolina.
After timely notice to the parties and the protestants, a
hearing was held at the Administrative Law Judge Division on
November 20, 1996 in Columbia, South Carolina. There were two
protestants of record. Both protestants failed to appear at the
hearing or to make a Motion for a Continuance, thereby, waiving
their protest. Therefore, there is no opposition of record to
the petitioner's application. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this
matter is dismissed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Department of Revenue and
Taxation continue to process the application of Donna I. Wright,
d/b/a Just Wright Grill and Grocery for an off-premises beer and
wine permit for a location at 3400 Wessinger Road, Chapin, South
Carolina.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
