ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
In
the above-captioned matter, Petitioner Ziad Saad, d/b/a Amusement Promotions,
seeks a contested case hearing to challenge the decision of Respondent South
Carolina Department of Revenue (Department) to deny his application to renew
his bingo promoter’s license. The Department had denied Petitioner’s
application because he had outstanding tax liabilities that he owed to the
Department. However, by a letter filed on March 2, 2006, the Department
informed this Court that Petitioner has now paid all previous tax liabilities in
full and thereby resolved his dispute with the Department regarding his
licensure. Therefore, as there are no justiciable issues remaining in
controversy in this matter,
IT
IS HEREBY ORDERED that the hearing of the above-captioned case scheduled
for Wednesday, March 22, 2006, is CANCELED and this case is DISMISSED.
AND
IT IS SO ORDERED.
