ORDERS:
ORDER
This matter is before the Court on the Appellant's Motion for Stay filed August 13, 2002. The Court conducted a hearing
via telephone on September 5, 2002 and September 30, 2002. Heath P. Taylor, Esquire, counsel for the Appellant, and M.
Kent Lesesne, Esquire, counsel for the Respondent participated in the conference call.
The Appellant moved for a stay of the South Carolina Manufactured Housing Board's Order dated July 17, 2002, pending
final disposition of the appeal. The Appellant contends that immediate enforcement of the Order may have serious
ramifications on a plea agreement the Appellant entered into with the United States government. After hearing arguments
of counsel, I find and conclude that the Respondent's Order should be stayed at the present time.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Respondent's Order dated July 17, 2002 shall be and is hereby stayed until
January 1, 2003.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Appellant shall increase its surety bond in favor of the Respondent from the
required $30,000.00 to $50,000.00.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
