ORDERS:
CONSENT ORDER
On March 6, 1997, Agents for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division observed
premises at 1918 Highway 17 South, Surfside Beach, South Carolina, containing machines licensed
under S.C. Code Ann. § 12-21-2720(A)(3) (Supp. 1997). The Agents reported that a number of the
single place or premises at that address failed to have employees present during business hours, and
that two machines failed to have owner identification as required by law. Respondents contested
those facts.
Respondents and the Peteitioner have reached an agreement on this contested matter.
Respondents agree to pay a penalty in the amount of fifteen thousand ($15,000.00) dollars to the
South Carolina Department of Revenue within thirty days of November 1, 1998, in order to resolve
this contested matter between it and the Department.
I find that the agreement of the parties is a satisfactory resolution of the contested matter
between the parties, is fair and reasonable, and hereby order its adoption.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
