ORDERS:
FINAL DECISION (Dismissal)
A hearing in the above-captioned matter was scheduled for May 29, 1997, at 3:00 p.m. at
the Administrative Law Judge Division offices. The protest to Petitioner's application for an on-premises beer and wine permit (AI #112238) and sale and consumption (mini-bottle) license (AI
#112239) in this matter has been withdrawn. The undersigned received a letter dated May 28,
1997, from the sole protestant in this matter, Chief Robin E. Morse of the Laurens City Police
Department, indicating that he wishes to withdraw his protest to the issuance of the permit and
license to Hassie L. Burroughs, d/b/a Club 221, Inc. Chief Morse's letter is incorporated herein
by reference. Therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the hearing scheduled for May 29, 1997 is canceled.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the South Carolina Department of Revenue issue the
on-premises beer and wine permit (AI #112238) and sale and consumption (mini-bottle) license
(AI #112239) applied for upon Petitioner's payment of the prescribed fee and bond.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the above-captioned case bearing Docket Number
97-ALJ-17-0164-CC is dismissed.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
