This matter is before the Court pursuant to the petition of Cheryl Bell, who contests the denial of her application for a producer’s license by the South Carolina Department of Insurance. The Department denied Ms. Bell’s application based on her prior convictions for crimes of moral turpitude.
Counsel for the Department has informed the Court that Ms. Bell has been granted a pardon by the Probation, Pardon and Parole Services Board, and that the Department of Insurance consequently has issued her a producer’s license. This case, therefore, is moot.
Accordingly, the case is dismissed.
