South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, Board of Chiropractic Examiners
In Re:
Proposed Regulation,
Document No. ___________.
(Requiring chiropractors to clearly indicate on signs, solicitations, and advertisements that chiropractic services are being offered) |
ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
A hearing on the "need and reasonableness" of the above proposed regulation was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
May 7, 2002, at the Administrative Law Judge Division, Edgar A. Brown Building, 1205 Pendleton Street, Columbia,
South Carolina.
ALJD Rule 45 requires the agency to provide a statement, at least ten (10) days before the scheduled hearing date,
confirming the need for a hearing pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. § 1-23-110 (Supp. 2001) on the basis that a request for a
hearing was made by twenty-five (25) persons, a governmental subdivision or agency, or an association having not less
than twenty-five (25) members.
By letter dated April 23, 2002, Susan Duncan, Assistant Legislative Liaison for the South Carolina Department of Labor,
Licensing, and Regulation, informed the Administrative Law Judge Division that no requests for a hearing were submitted
to the agency. Thus, a hearing is unnecessary in this matter.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the hearing scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2002 is canceled and this
matter is dismissed.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
