ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
This matter is before me on the application of Donald Kearse and Licinia W. Kearse
d/b/a Wingate Bottle Shop for a retail liquor license for the establishment located at 1550
Wingate Street, Orangeburg, South Carolina. The application was protested by Cedric Earl
Gibb, Pastor of New Creation Lutheran Church, and Melvina Lee, of the Corporate and
Real Estate Division of First Union National Bank. After notice to the parties a hearing
was scheduled for March 24, 1998. The protestors failed to appear at the hearing and the
protests are deemed abandoned. No other protests were made to this application.
THEREFORE, it is ORDERED that the above-referenced matter is forwarded to
the Department of Revenue to continue to process the application of Donald Kearse and
Licinia W. Kearse, d/b/a Wingate Bottle Shoppe. The contested case hearing is
DISMISSED.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
