ORDERS:
FINAL ORDER
The matter in dispute is a property tax controversy in which the South Carolina Department of Revenue (Department) denied a property tax exemption to the Petitioner. Since the filing of this action with the Administrative Law Court, the Petitioner has provided additional information to the Department indicating that the Petitioner is a governmental entity. As such, the Department will grant the property tax exemption pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Section 12-37-220(A)(1) (Supp. 2004) and certify such to the county.
Accordingly, the parties have resolved their differences and wish to end this litigation. All parties and their counsel agree that the resolution of this matter may not be used in any other tax matter or with regard to any other taxpayer for any purpose.
Based on the consent of the parties, as evidenced by the signatures of the parties below, it is the order of this Court that this matter is forever ended and dismissed with prejudice to all parties to this suit, as well as those parties in privity to such parties.
