ORDER OF DISMISSAL (Settlement)

The above-entitled case is pending before the Administrative Law Judge Division, and was assigned to the Honorable Ray N. Stevens on December 31, 1997. Philip S. Porter, South Carolina Consumer Advocate, was named as Intervenor upon the filing of the Procedural Order on January 6, 1998. On January 19, 1998, a letter was received from Hana Pokorna-Williamson, Staff Attorney for the Intervenor, Department of Consumer Affairs. The letter stated that the Petitioner, Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, proposed to amend its rate request from an initially requested overall increase of 1.6% to an overall increase of l.0% and further requested that an Order of Dismissal be issued. A hearing was held via teleconference on January 28, 1998, at which time all parties consented to dismissing the matter pursuant to a settlement. It appears to the satisfaction of the Division that this case has been fully and finally settled by agreement between the parties and that the case be dismissed.

Therefore, IT IS ORDERED that the above-captioned case be and hereby is settled and dismissed.
