ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
This matter came before me on the request of the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing
and Regulation-Board of Medical Examiners (LLR) for a public hearing on proposed regulations,
§40-47-20. LLR published the drafting notice of regulations in the South Carolina State Register.
on December 26, 1997.
By Order dated December 8, 1997, a public hearing on the proposed regulations was scheduled for
February 13, 1998, at the Administrative Law Judge Division. LLR advises that no oral or written
comments or requests were received and LLR therefore requests that the hearing scheduled for
February 13, 1998, be canceled. No hearing is required unless requested by 25 persons, a
governmental subdivision or agency, or an association having not less than 25 members. S. C. Code
Ann. § 1-23-110.
For the foregoing reason, it is ORDERED that the above captioned case be and hereby is dismissed
and the hearing scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 1998, is canceled.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
