ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
This matter came before me on the request of the South Carolina Department of Social Services
(DSS) for a public hearing on Amendments to Child Support Guildelines. DSS published the
drafting notice of regulations in the South Carolina State Register.
By Order dated November 13, 1997, a public hearing on the proposed regulations was scheduled for
January 26, 1998, at the Administrative Law Judge Division. DSS advises that no oral or written
comments or requests were received and DSS therefore, requests that the hearing scheduled for
January 26, 1998, be cancelled. No hearing is required unless requested by 25 persons, a
governmental subdivision or agency, or an association having not less than 25 members. S. C. Code
Ann. § 1-23-110 (Supp. 1996).
For the foregoing reason, it is ORDERED that the above captioned case be and hereby is dismissed
and the hearing scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 1998, is cancelled.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
