ORDERS:
CONSENT ORDER
Before hearing of this matter, the parties entered into an agreement concerning the issues to be presented to
the Administrative Law Judge Division. By this agreement, the Petitioner, South Carolina Department of
Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, Division of Labor, agrees to vacate the citation for violation of S.C. Code §
41-10-40 and the associated penalty. The Respondent agrees to provide to the Petitioner, on or before July 1,
2001, written documentation of the changes implemented in the administration of its payroll system to assure
that notification of changes in wages are made in a timely fashion. The Respondent also agrees to withdraw
its notice of contest of citation #795-01 for violation of S.C. Code § 41-10-30 and the associated penalty.
I have reviewed the terms of this agreement and find that it is consistent with the purposes of the South
Carolina Payment of Wages Act and in the best interest of the public.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the agreement between the parties is approved and that this protest be
dismissed.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
