ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
This contested case matter is before the Administrative Law Judge Division (ALJD or
Division) pursuant to Petitioner's request for review of the decision of the Chesterfield County Board
of Assessment Appeals (Board) dated April 27, 1995. Petitioner contests the valuation for ad
valorem tax purposes assigned by the Board to his property located at 221 Jimmilyn Drive (Tax Map.
No. 243-000-004-017) in Cheraw, South Carolina.
A hearing of this matter was scheduled for Thursday, December 7, 1995 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Administrative Law Judge Division, Columbia, South Carolina. By letter dated December 4, 1995
from the Petitioner's Criminal Attorney, Mr. Jay Hodge, the Petitioner requested a continuance of the
matter due to his incarceration at the Evans Corrections Institution. By letter dated January 12, 1996
and received in the Division on January 17, 1996, the Petitioner wishes to withdraw his appeal on this
matter. The letter attached is attached to this Order as Exhibit A. By withdrawing the request, it
appears that no further action is required. It is therefore,
ORDERED, that the above referenced case is DISMISSED.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
