ORDERS:
CONSENT ORDER OF DISMISSAL
Whereas, this matter was instituted by the Petitioner, Charleston County Assessor, appealing the market value of certain
real property of the Respondent, West Ashley Ventures, LLC, for tax year 2001, as decided by the Charleston County
Board of Assessment Appeals on May 20, 2002, and such appeal is now pending before the Honorable Ralph King
Anderson, III, Administrative Law Judge; and
Whereas, the market value set by the Charleston County Assessor for the real property is $6,400,000, and the market value
set by the West Ashley Ventures, LLC is $5,508,950, and the market value set by the Charleston County Board of
Assessment Appeals is $6,000,000; and
Whereas, West Ashley Ventures, LLC and the Charleston County Assessor have resolved the matter and agreed to a market
value of the commercial property, to-wit:
1. The Charleston County Assessor has approved the market value for tax year 2001 of Respondent's property known as the
Hampton Inn, 678 Citadel Haven Drive, Charleston, South Carolina and further identified as parcel identification #310-08-00-012, at the value of $6,400,000; and 2. This new value will be certified to the Charleston County Auditor and a revised tax bill for tax year 2001 will be issued
to the Respondent for the real property in question.
Wherefore, upon motion of the Petitioner, and with the consent of the Respondent, this matter is hereby dismissed.
