ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
This matter is before the South Carolina Administrative Law Judge Division ("Division")
on the application of Rebecca H. Carter, d/b/a E-Z Shop, located at 107 Jennings Street,
Bennettsville, South Carolina for an off-premises beer & wine permit (AI-120282). This application
was protested by Greater Love Outreach Church ("Prostestant"). After notice to the parties a hearing
was scheduled for July 23, 1998. The Notice of Hearing was sent certified to the Protestant. Greater
Love Outreach Church received notice on June 19, 1998. The Protestant failed to appear at the
hearing and the protest is deemed abandoned. No other protests were made to this application.
The location was previously issued an off-premises beer and wine permit, and has been
continuously licensed since October 1988. Taking the protest into consideration, there is no basis
on which to deny the permit.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the above-referenced matter is forwarded to the
Department of Revenue to continue to process the application of Rebecca H. Carter.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this matter is DISMISSED.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
