ORDERS:
ORDER
This matter comes before me pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. § 1-23-310, et seq. (Supp. 1996)
for a hearing pursuant to the application of Maxie C. Deese, d/b/a Teat's Grocery. The petitioner
seeks an off-premises beer and wine permit (AI 111658) for a grocery store located at Route 1, Box
193, Highway 109, Ruby, South Carolina.
After timely notice to the parties and the protestants, a hearing was held at the
Administrative Law Judge Division on June 17, 1997 in Columbia, South Carolina. There were
several protestants of record. The protestants failed to appear at the hearing or to make a Motion for
a Continuance, thereby, waiving their protest. Therefore, there is no opposition of record to the
petitioner's application. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this matter is dismissed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Department of Revenue continue to process the
application of Maxie C. Deese, d/b/a Teat's Grocery for an off-premises beer and wine permit (AI
111658) for a grocery store located at Route 1, Box 193, Highway 109, Ruby, South Carolina.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
