ORDERS:
CONSENT ORDER
On April 3, 2000, a hearing was held in this matter. Prior to the conclusion of the hearing, Petitioner Collins Properties and
Respondent Harold G. Worley agreed to settle this matter through a consent order. Respondent South Carolina
Department of Health and Environmental Control, Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management does not object to
this settlement. (Copy of letter from OCRM attached.)
The parties hereby agree that Harold G. Worley will not utilize pier permit number 98-ID-398-P or build a pier on and
adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean at the terminus of Main Street at Ocean Drive Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Horry County,
South Carolina until he has acquired an additional 117 parking spaces dedicated solely to the pier. These 117 additional
parking spaces must be located within .5 miles of the pier entrance and are in addition to any parking spaces for any other
commercial entity in the area.
