FINAL ORDER OF DISMISSAL

This matter came before the Division for an appellant hearing on August 20, 2003. At the call of the case, the parties notified the Court that they had reached a settlement of the issues in this appeal. Rose Mary McGregor, Counsel for the Respondent, stated that the Department of Social Services had received a clear fire marshal letter for twenty-four children at the W.E. Ritter Center, and was authorized to issue the Child Care license requested by Mr. Ritter. Mr. Jerry Screen, counsel for the Appellant, then moved to withdraw his appeal. The motion was Granted.

THEREFORE, the South Carolina Department of Social Services is authorized to issue the license requested by the W.E. Ritter Center based upon the South Carolina Department of Social Services’ receipt of the letter from the fire marshal which allows the Center to care for up to twenty-four children.

AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
