ORDERS:
ORDER AND DECISION
This matter comes before me pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. § 1-23-310, et seq. (Supp.
1994) for a hearing pursuant to the application of Sarojben M. Patel, S M Grocery, Inc. of
Florence. The applicant seeks an off-premises beer and wine permit (AI 102259) for 1210
Oakland Avenue, Florence, South Carolina.
After timely notice, a hearing was held at the Administrative Law Judge Division on June
29, 1995 in Columbia, South Carolina. The protestant of record, Chief Ralph Porter of the
Florence Police Department, failed to appear at the hearing, thereby, waiving his protest.
Therefore, there is no opposition of record to the petitioner's application.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that this matter is dismissed and that the Department
of Revenue and Taxation continue to process the application of Sarojben M. Patel for an off-premises beer and wine permit at 1210 Oakland Avenue, Florence, South Carolina.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
