ORDERS:
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
This matter is before the Administrative Law Judge Division ("Division") pursuant to Petitioner's application for an off-premises beer and wine permit. The application was protested by Mr. Henry Snyder, Jr., and Deborah W. Taylor. After
notice to the parties, a hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 2002. The Notice of Hearing was mailed to
both Protestants on August 8, 2002. The other Protestants did not appear at the hearing. Absent testimony from any of the
Protestants, the protest is deemed abandoned. The Department would have issued the permit but for the concerns of the
citizens as to suitability of the location.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the above-captioned matter is forwarded to the Department of Revenue to continue to
process the application of Luis Martin Palacios, d/b/a Tienda Mexicana el Latino #2, 103 W. McGregor St., Pageland, SC,
and to issue the requested permit.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this matter is dismissed.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
