ORDER OF DISMISSAL

In this matter, the parties agreed to terms of settlement, which were read into the record in open court at the March 10, 2000 hearing. As provided in S.C.R.C.P. 43(k), these settlement terms resolve all disputes in the case at hand and are binding upon the parties. Despite receiving timely notice of the hearing, the Protestant Sheriff Bill Blanton did not appear or notify this tribunal that he would not be appearing at the hearing. Sheriff Blanton's protest is thereby waived.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that this matter is dismissed.

AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
