ORDERS:
CONSENT ORDER
A
request for a contested case hearing was filed in this Court on June 12, 2008.
Pursuant to Order of this Court, a hearing on the merits of this action was
scheduled in this Court on November 18, 2008.
The
parties have since resolved the matters in this case. The subject matter of
this case involves an appeal from the decision of the Cherokee County Assessor
concerning valuation of five residential lots in Cherokee County, South
Carolina. Those lots are identified as Lots 12, 26, 28, 30 and 31 of the Eagle
Ridge Subdivision. The Petitioner and Respondent have agreed that the subject
lots shall be valued for the purposed of the 2007 valuation by the Cherokee
County Tax Assessors’ office as follows:
Lots
26, 28, 30 and 31 shall each be valued at $11,500.00.
Lot
12 shall be valued at $10,250.00.
The
parties have reached this agreement based upon the valuation statement filed by
the Petitioner and relied by both parties herein. The valuation statement was
prepared by South Carolina Certified Residential Appraiser, Tucker K. Edwards.
Wherefore,
having fully considered the matters herein, it is hereby
ORDERED,
ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the subject lots shall be valued for purposes of
the 2007 valuation by the Cherokee County Tax Assessors’ office as follows:
Lots
26, 28, 30 and 31 of the Eagle Ridge Subdivision in Cherokee County, South
Carolina, shall be valued at $11,500.00 each.
Lot
12 of the Eagle Ridge Subdivision in Cherokee County, South Carolina, shall be
valued at $10,250.00.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
