ORDERS:
ORDER GRANTING REQUEST TO CONSOLIDATE
By
letter dated June 15, 2007, counsel for the above-referenced Petitioners, with
the consent of counsel for Respondent, requested that this court consolidate
the above-captioned cases for hearing pursuant to ALC Rule 19(D) in an effort
to substantially reduce expenses to all parties, simplify the issues before the
court, and reduce the time it will take the court to handle these cases
Counsel further
informed this court that the principals of Petitioners Old Citadel Associates,
LLC, Northbridge Associates II, LLC, John Street Associates, LLC, and Meeting
Street Ventures, LLC are essentially identical, and contends that these cases
involve substantially similar evidence and material. By order filed June 26,
2007 by John D. Geathers, this Motion was denied. However, Judge Geathers
vacated this Order on May 28, 2008 based on the reassignment of these matters
to me which occurred on May 29, 2008. Because these cases are essentially
identical, and involve substantially similar evidence and material,
IT
IS HEREBY ORDERED these cases are consolidated for all purposes, including
discovery and hearing.
AND
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the caption in this
matter will read "Old Citadel Associates, LLC, Northbridge
Associates II, LLC, John Street Associates, LLC, and Meeting Street Ventures,
LLC, Petitioners v. Charleston County Assessor, Respondent” and shall bear
Docket number 07-ALJ-17-0190-CC.
AND
IT IS SO ORDERED.
