ORDERS:
SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
The
South Carolina Department of Revenue (Department) initiated this matter by
issuing a Notice of Intent to Suspend for 45 days to Hayat, Inc., d/b/a Zee’s
Food Store, (Respondent) on October 8, 2007, for a third violation sale of
alcohol to a minor. Respondent holds permit number 32035592-PBG, authorizing
the sale of beer and wine for off-premises consumption at the location, 115 N.
Adair Street, Clinton, South Carolina.
The
parties, as attested to by their undersigned signatures, have indicated that the
matter has been resolved upon the following terms and conditions:
1. Respondent
admits that a sale to a minor occurred on September 21, 2007 on it’s licensed
premises, 115 N. Adair Street, Clinton, SC.
2. Respondent
agrees to turn over its permit and suspend all sales of alcohol on the licensed
premises for 10 days, to begin at 12:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2008, and end
at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2008.
3. Respondent
agrees to pay a $2,500 fine to the Department by 5:00 p.m. on May 28, 2008.
The
parties further agree that they freely and voluntarily entered into this
Agreement and such constitutes a full and final resolution of this matter and
such is RESOLVED
WITH PREJUDICE.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
