ORDERS:
SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
The
South Carolina Department of Revenue (Department) initiated this matter by
issuing a Notice of Intent to Suspend for 45 days to Rahul, Inc., d/b/a Zeke’s
Country Store, (Respondent) on December 11, 2007, for a third violation sale of
alcohol to a minor. Respondent holds permit number 32032715-PBG, authorizing
the sale of beer and wine for off-premises consumption at the location, 5629
Highway 76, Pendleton, South Carolina.
The
parties, as attested to by their undersigned signatures, have indicated that the
matter has been resolved upon the following terms and conditions:
1. Respondent
agrees to turn over its permit and suspend all sales of alcohol on the licensed
premises for 15 days, to begin at 12:00 a.m. on February 29, 2008, and end at 11:59
p.m. on Friday March 14, 2008.
2. Respondent
agrees to pay a $1,500.00 fine to the Department.
The
parties further agree that they freely and voluntarily entered into this
Agreement and such constitutes the full and final resolution of this matter and
such is RESOLVED
WITH
PREJUDICE.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
